The DigaNET™ HDVAR (High Resolution Digital Video and Audio Recorder) recorders are capable of recording 4,8,12 or 16 audio and video inputs in real time, full 30 frames per second at near DVD 704 x 480 resolution all onto reliable internal hard disk. 25 to 30 days storage is accomplished on recording the data into inexpensive, internal IDE hard drives (4 x 250 GB). Competitive systems require ten's of Terabytes of storage to accomplish the same resolution quality and record storage times relying on expensive RAID hard drive or mechanical DAT/AIT mechanical tape jukebox arrays.

The graphical user interface is designed with the look and feel of software that we are all familiar with, resembling the controls of a VCR. DigaNET™ HDVAR may record live video and audio, view recorded data both locally and remotely as well as download video and play back archived video all at the same time. This is referred to as Pentaplex functionality.

For security purposes, Video Authentication with Watermarking is another important feature of the DigaNET™. An electronic footprint is layered onto the video files making the recordings admissible as evidence.
